Prof. Huu Hao Ngo of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) gives Lectures in XAUAT

Invited by Prof. Xiaochang Wang, Prof. Huu Hao Ngo from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) gave lectures entitled “Biogas from Wastewater Treatment” to the graduate and PhD students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering at XAUAT on November 29, 2016, Xi’an, China.
Prof. Ngo is a professor of Environmental Engineering in University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and serving as Deputy Director of the Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater and Research Theme Coordinator-Sustainable Water: Treatment and Reuse Technologies and Management. Prof. Ngo is internationally well known for his activities in the areas of wastewater treatment and reuse technologies, which include advanced biological waste treatment (aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, specific attached and/or suspended growth bioreactors, biosorption, wetlands), membrane technologies (membrane hybrid system, desalination), and physical-chemical separation technologies as pretreatment or post-treatment (adsorption, flocculation and filtration).
Prof. Ngo is also the High-End foreign expert and honorary professor of XAUAT, and he visits XAUAT every year regularly and give lectures to the graduate and PhD students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering in different aspects of water environment.
