Mr. Paul Reiter of Reiter IWS Ltd. gives a Lecture in XAUAT

Invited by Prof. Xiaochang Wang, Mr. Paul Reiter from Reiter IWS Ltd. gave a lecture entitled “Confronting challenges in drinking water management in 2016 - International hot topics and examples including cross-references to China” to the graduate and PhD students of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering of XAUAT on March 31, 2016, Xi’an, China.
Mr. Paul Reiter, a leading figure in international and regional water issues, is the founder and President of ReiterIWS Ltd. Paul speaks and works around the world on the leading challenges facing the water sector and innovative solutions to meet these challenges. Paul served as the Executive Director of IWA for more than ten years – an organization that serves as the global network for water professional with 10,000 members in 130 countries.
Altogether, Paul has over 30 years of experience in water industry knowledge brokering, utility project innovation and utility management in the areas of water, electricity and solid waste. Through this period, Paul has worked as a utility leader, private consultant and association director. Paul’s topical experience in water includes the energy-water nexus, urban water resource optimization, water efficiency & reuse, urban drainage and water sensitive urban design.
