Prof. Xiaochang Wang delivers invited presentation at LET 2018

The IWA Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies (LET 2018) was held on 27-31 May, 2018 in Nanjing China, Prof. Xiaochang Wang was invited to attend the conference and gave a lecture.

 

The LET conference is held in a different country every year. After unparalleled success in Amsterdam (2003), Singapore (2007 & 2009), Zurich (2008), Phoenix (2010), Amsterdam (2011), Brisbane (2012), Bordeaux (2013), Abu Dhabi (2014), Hong Kong (2015), Jerez de la Frontera (2016) and Florianópolis (2017). IWA is hosting its 15th Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies in 2018 in Nanjing, China, which complements the approaches of urban water management between megacities, smaller towns and rural environments, driven by the diversity of climatic conditions and the natural and human environment.

 

Prof. Wang was invited to attend the conference as the program committee member, and chair the session entitled" Innovative decentralized technologies for urban/rural applications". Besides, Prof. Wang also attended the workshop with the topic of " Changing with the Times: What You Need to Know About Publishing Today " and gave lectures mainly on H2Open Journal, the newly published open access by IWA Publishing, which generated broad interest of the attendees and stimulated wide-ranging discussions.
