
2nd Experts Forum on Water Environment held in Xian, China

The 2nd experts forum on water environment was held on December 14, 2018, in Xi’an, China. The event was co-organized by the International S&T Cooperation Center for Urban Alternative Water Resources Development (Int’l AWR Center) and Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT). Over 100 scholars and students from XAUAT attended.
Experts Forum
Prof. Huu Hao Ngo, University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), and Prof. Yuefeng Xie, Tsinghua University were invited as keynote speakers. Prof. Ngo gave a lecture on the topic "Biomass from swine wastewater via biomass plants," whereas Prof. Xie spoke about "Influence of shale gas wastewater on the disinfection by-products." The lectures generated broad interests from the attendees and stimulated wide-ranging discussions. The event would further strengthen the technical exchange and cooperation between the experts and Int’l AWR Center.
